NCR Sports appreciates the effort of all those who contribute to the development of tag in the South East, especially the Blackheath Tag League. They strive to keep it fun, affordable and keep the finger on the pulse when it comes to updates and important communication.

They react to all feedback and aim to make things better for teams and use the best practice to engage with players.

Communication

NCR league, owner operated entity, intend their policies and thought out decisions to be trustworthy(new google authentication process links below).

  1. The league is designed, built and structured in a way to run efficiently.
  2. They believe team business threads are of utmost importance to the running and survival of the NCR Blackheath Tag League.
  3. NCR has been instrumental in building all teams from inception.
  4. Monitoring means avoiding forfeits at all costs, it’s vital getting fixtures with as full teams as possible.
  5. In all instances they believe communication has to be clear, whether it’s on WhatsApp or *email. Business WhatsApp has been adopted from day one for the preferred monitoring(NOT discussing, trolling or indeed strategising).
  6. If NO team turns up, it’s a disaster. The very least is a team forfeiting (standard notification 24hrs before KO.)

The main engagement for NCR Sports is player turn up. They would like to reassure all participants every attempt is made to have an opposition on the day and FULL 40 minute match.

Breakdown in communications

Below is the standard protocol for “Forfeits” and is not enforced unless other communication breaks down.

*Email must come from the captain.

  1. As from now if they’re not aware or fail to monitor a team, the policy will be to receive an *email no less than 24hrs KO of a team forfeit. Failure to do so will result in penalties and reduction in league points.
  2. Reminder: The players must be registered one week before the new season starts(all details for compliance including *email and full name and mobile). Again due to admin purposes, any delays will mean point penalisation. Fixture change request also must be *emailed.

There is no hard & fast rule to this, it’s currently working and they hope to keep it that way, providing players for teams, if short. The business whatsapp threads of course may get personal and that’s something all those who engage must be aware of. There is no reason you can’t have a social team thread also. The NCR business team threads will continue (all teams who are registered).

Please also be assured, monitoring of team members registered with NCR Sports does not affect the rights or obligations of players. Players have a choice to drop out at any time and request to deregister.

Unregistered players will not be allowed to play unfortunately due to compliance, which is for safety(should a player need special attention) and public liability.

This may in some way give you an understanding and purpose of their communication channel. They are there to help the teams grow, and have the resources to provide players from a pool(recruiting newbies regularly), if teams are short for a season or indeed on the day of the fixture.

*Email – received/sent will be subject to google’s new authentication process, they will not be responsible to those who do not receive updates.
