Blackheath Tag SPRING League ’25 – Saturday Format
We’re dedicated to keeping you informed with the latest updates as soon as they’re available.
Weekly Fixtures:
- Subscribers will receive the Saturday fixture directly to their email inboxes.
- Otherwise, the official schedule will be published online by NCR Sports every Wednesday before the Saturday games at www.ncr.events.
- You’ll also find the Saturday fixture posted HERE.
League Structure:
- Eight Teams will compete in the league.
- Team Composition: Each team consists of 3 female and 4 male players.
- Ringer Rule:
- A maximum of 2 female and 2 male “ringer” players are allowed on the pitch at any time.
- At least 4 original, fully paid team members must be on the pitch during play.
- Format (8-Week League):
- Weeks 1-7: All teams will play each other in a round-robin format.
- Week 8: Finals Day! Matches will be determined by the Round One league table positions:
- Championship Final: 1st place vs. 2nd place
- Third Place Playoff: 3rd place vs. 4th place
- Fifth Place Playoff: 5th place vs. 6th place
- Seventh Place Playoff: 7th place vs. 8th place
Awards and Presentations:
- Presentations will typically take place at Après Tag, our local pub.
- The Saturday League winner will be presented with the perpetual cup, and their team name will be added to its history.
- Additional prizes will be awarded at the organisers’ discretion for:
- Player of the Series (POTS)
- Most Improved Player of the Season
- Best Captain
